So much has changed in the past few months and there are many who have no chance of surviving but for those able to continue now is a fantastic opportunity for real change.
Too often we visit pubs, bars and restaurants and feel underwhelmed. Things are done in a particular way and it looks like little thought has been given to how the customer has changed over the decades. Venues continue doing things the same old way because that is “how it has always been done” and that is “what everyone else is doing”.
This is understandable, people generally are not keen on change, but now is a great opportunity to embrace change and to make a big impact on the way venues conduct themselves.
Customers are not expecting ‘normal’ we have permission to do things differently so in the next few months it is a perfect time to reassess your business, look at what works and what could be done better and not just for your customers but also for you - is your business really living up to the dream that you thought it would be or maybe it’s just a bit off the mark?
A little bit of time to think and make the necessary tweaks and you can be back on track with a business that delivers everything you hoped it would whilst delivering beyond the expectations of your customers.
There are really easy steps to make to realign your business to be perfectly in tune with your customers and attract new ones - even now, even when things are looking so difficult - now is the best opportunity in a long time to really make a change.
