Oh, this is my baby!

This was my very first site, and I was just 23 when I opened it. It was such an exciting time in an up-and-coming area—house prices quadrupled in the first 3 years we were here (I like to pretend it's because everyone wanted to live next to our bar!).

We were the heart of a young, vibrant community—a small, local award-winning bar that served specialty perfect-serve drinks. We transformed into a multi-award-winning local bistro, and even earned the title of Which? Good Food Guide's 'Midlands Restaurant of the Year.'

Our customers made lifelong friends here, met their spouses, celebrated important milestones, and ‘North's’ became a cherished part of their personal stories.

I feel incredibly privileged to have started my journey here, filled with happy memories and wonderful days.
